Period 1--ELA B 30:
We reviewed the Freytag Pyramid of Plot Development and the discussed several of the words that will be necessary to know for ELA discussions. We then finished reading the "Riddle of the Sphinx" and also had a handout on the Structure of the Greek Tragedy. Finally, we started reading the play. I pulled a few students out of the class to tell them the story so they were aware of the foreshadowing that happens throughout. They will be like a real Greek audience who would have known the story and revelled in the anticipation of the revelation scene.

AP students are reminded to be reading Frankenstein
Period 3--Pre-AP 10:
Due to the number of students who were away at driver training, I allowed the students some time to work on their Of Mice and Men reading and double entry journal.
Period 4 & 5
We didn't have regular classes due to the SRC promise from last year's magazine sale. We had a gym blast that split the teams into 4 and they played cooperative games. It was hot and sweaty, but what a lot of fun! Way to go OHS, for showing such incredible school spirit!
