Period 1--ELA B 30
We finished working on our Summer News assignment in the computer lab. Quite a few were finished, but a few will have to do some homework to get it finished for the September 7th due date.
Period 2--ELA B 30/AP 30 split
The students were able to get into the computer lab to work on their Summer News assignment. This is the only class they have to type it up. If they don't have it finished, they'll have to do it for homework to have it handed in for September 7th!
AP students are reminded to be reading Frankenstein. I'd liek this read for the end of hte month.
Period 3--ELA AP 10
We finally finished the power point that examines the life and times of William Shakespeare. Mr. McJannet came in to pass out the student handbooks. Students are encouraged to use those handbooks to help them organize their due date and exams. There are also other bits of information about our school and general information that students can utilize. Toward the end of the class, we started discussing Macbeth and how it is a "cursed" play if you believe in that sort of thing! We'll look at the history of the play a bit more on Tuesday and then will be jumping right in to the play next week!
Students in Pre-AP 10 are reminded to be reading Of Mice and Men and filling out their double entry journal!
Period 4--History 10
This was the last class for ht ekids ot work on thier timeline. Many have finished and will hand it in tomorrow.
Period 5--History 30
We had an assembly with information from Mr. McJannet, Mr. Sobkowicz, and the SRC!
