Period 1--ELA B 30
We worked on some review questions for the play to ensure understanding of the various events.  We'll finish these up tomorrow and then get started on a writing assignment.

Period 2--ELA B 30/AP 30
We finished reading the play and then reviewed a powerpoint that contains some information about important motifs and themes of the play.  We will finish viewing this tomorrow and then get into a writing assignment.  The AP students will be doing something a bit different from the kids in the regular class.

Period 3--Pre-AP 10
We finally finished reading Act I!!  The students especially enjoyed Lady Macbeth and how brutal she is in this act.  With the culmination of the Act, the students need to do some writing for me.  We started examining the characters (in groups) to which we've been introduced and looking for quotations to support.  We then started examining those characterisitcs and discussing them as a class.  Tomorrow we will finish this and then the students will work individually to create a character analysis of a character of their chosing.

Period 4--History 10
Miss Campbell took the class over for the most part today!  She went over the Scientific Revolution in a cloze exercize and the students discussed what invention they think is the most important invention of all time.  Later on, after information was relayed about important inventors, Miss Campbell had the students write a paragraph about which of those important men of the Scientific Revolution was the most important.  This will be due tomorrow.

Period 5--History 30
We continued to read through a handout about the various parts of the Canadian government.  Again, some excellent discussion (and related to the topic--more or less!) ensued from this.  We will finish the handout tomorrow.
