Period 1--AP 30
Many of the students were helping out the grade 11s with getting ready for the Remembrance Day Service. Since we were missing so many, we continued with our Chaucer Prologue assignment.
Period 2--ELA A 30
We went to the computer lab to work on our "Most Admirable Canadian of All Time" speech. It must be 2.5 minutes long. The students should have chosen their person and started collecting information in order to start writing their speech.
Period 3--History 10
We were called down to the gym to take part in the OHS Remembrance Day Service.
Period 4--History 10
Since more than half the class was gone, we used this time to get caught up on work that is outstanding.
Period 5--AP 10
With it being such a nice day before winter truly hits, and with many of the class gone for Drivers Education, we went out to appreciate the nice day, wrote a poem along the way, and did a quick stop by the bakery. When we returned to school, we recited our class poem to the principal and then used the rest of the class to clean up homework.
As a reminder, there is no school for students tomorrow since it is a teacher inservice for the entire day.
