Period 1 & 2--AP 30
We finished viewing "Knight's Tale" and applied the viewing to a technical study of the clip. We also answered questions about theme and focussed a lot on chivalry and how Chaucer viewed courtly love and if we could sense that tone throughout the piece. We discussed all of this and more, then moved into watching a version of "The Nun's Priest's Tale" with a brief examination of tone, and didn't quite have time to study "The Wife of Bath's Tale" before the bell rang.
Period 3--ELA A 30
The students had this last class to finish up their Reading Assessment. If they didn't finish, they were to take it home to complete.
Period 4--History 10
We didn't have access to the computer lab today, so we went over the information the students shared (as part of their formative assessment) on the back wall. It was a fun discussion going through what they learned about Henry VIII and religion.
Period 5--AP 10
Since they finished Macbeth on Friday with Mrs. Adelman, we reviewed some of the main ideas such as: is Lady Macbeth a victim of love or an ambitious woman? Who were the nemeses in the play? We examined how each nemesis to Macbeth functioned in the play.
Period 6--AP 20
We reviewed our reading from last Thursday and then moved into a continuation of reading Act I. We are starting to see the emerging character of Iago.
