Period 1--History 10
I introduced the PBL that the students will be doing for the next little while with this unit. We did a brainstorming of positives and negatives of religion being involved with government. From there, they went to the computer lab to deal with their first disclosure that asks them to examine Henry VIII's reign and the role religion played in it.
Period 2--ELA A 30
The students had to do a reading assessment today. We just started this and it will take several days to complete.
Period 3--AP 30
We read the "Pardoner's Tale" today and then started a viewing activity with the "Knight's Tale" which will take more time to complete.
Period 4--AP 10
In Macbeth, we are on Act V and are about halfway through. They may be able to finish up tomorrow.
Period 5--Mentor
The students continued to get their portfolios ready for three way conferences next week.
Period 6--AP 20
We stared with Othello today. The students were given a character map as well as some important information to help them get through some of the events. We began reading and are nicely into Act I.
