Period 1--ELA A 30
The students used this class in the computer lab to work on their Nomination Speeches. This is their last class and they will be required to do their speeches next Tuesday.
Period 2--AP 30
The students finished watching the rest of "The Wife of Bath's Tale" and then we discussed theme with focus and insight. We also spent a bit of time thinking about catharsis and whether or not it was achieved.
Period 3 & 4--History 10
While half the class was at Driver Training Education, the half left behind worked on their avatars and introductory activity for BitStrips. Our class is almost complete and the students should be able to work their way through the program well enough to attend to their next formative assignment.
Period 5--AP 10
Again, half the class was missing, so rather than move too far ahead, we took this opportunity to read Animal Farm in class. This book must be finished by the beginning of December.
