With report cards coming up, marking was piling up, so I took an EDO to spend the day marking at home. This is what the day looked like for Mrs. Adelman:
Period 1 & 2--AP 30
They were promised one more class to work on their Chaucer Prologue assignments, so they have it today. They can use the other period in our double to work on their annotations (due before Christmas) or other assignments needing their immediate attention.
Period 3--ELA A 30
The students will read the essay "I am a Native of North America" by Chief Dan George. There are various pre, during, and post reading activities for them to do.
Period 4--History 10
The students will do some current events with Mrs. Adelman
Period 5--AP 10
The students are starting Act III of Macbeth. They take turn reading parts and discussing meaning as we go along.
Period 6--AP 20
The students have this time to work on the Blake companion poems.
