Period 1--ELA B 30
The students were given a handout on "The Nose" and they continued with our analysis of the story via discussion questions and those they were to do in their books. As they finished, we took the questions up together as a class, so we are ready to move on for tomorrow.
Period 2--AP 30
We finished looking at the power point of Emily Dickinson. From there, we read "There's a certain slant of light" and "I'm nobody, who are you?" We just finished our analysis as the bell rang. Tomorrow, we should be able to finish up Victorian Literature and then move onto Modern Literature next week. We will have a timed write on Monday to finish off this unit.
Period 3--AP 10
They continued their work on their Fever Chart.
Period 4--History 10
We started a new unit today on the Industrial Revoltuion, so there were a number of handouts for them to take as they worked toward understanding infrastructure and standard of living.
