Lucky me...I get to chaperone the grade 10s on their annual ski trip. With any luck, I'll still be in one piece by the end of the day!

Period 1--ELA B 30
The students should have finished up the anticipation guide for Beowulf that I left for them. Then, they need to read the page in their ELA B 30 Booklet titled "Beowulf and the Battle with Grendel" that gives information about epic poetry, hero kings, etc. They can ignore the 11 questions on the back of the page. We will be doing something different with the excerpt. The students can read the graphic novel that covers the adventures of Beowulf. As they read, there are comprehension questions that go with the story.
Period 2--AP 30
They can use this class to work on their fever chart.
Period 3 & 4--I have the grade 10s and we are skiing all day!!
I hope everyone has a great Easter break! I'm off to Italy and France with some grade 11 and 12 students, so I know I will!
