Due to a blizzard yesterday, buses weren't running today which made attendance sparse. It was a bit of a clean up day for many classes.
Period 1--ELA B 30
The students' nomination speeches were due today so they started presenting them. We got through as many as we could today and will continue tomorrow with the speeches when more students are here.
Period 2--AP 30
Despite the few numbers, we carried on with "The Defence of Guenevere" today in class. This is always such an interesting poem as we are treated to the machinations of Guenevere in the fight for her life. Her weaponry of tears, logic (faulty though it may be), feminine charms, and guilt are always a fascinating read. We will finish this up tomorrow when the students will have to return their verdict.
Period 3--AP 10
The students had this class to continue working on their "Fever Charts."
Period 4--History 10
We will bump back the History exam to Wednesday since there were only a few students here today which delayed me completing the unit review. The students used this class to study.
