It feels more like we should be celebrating Christmas than Easter coming up with the ridiculous weather we are having. The buses didn't run today and because of the insane wind and blowing snow, many of our town kids didn't risk the short journey to school either.
Needless to say, for those students that did show up (few though they were), it was a work day for all their homework, independent reading, or trying to forge ahead on assignments. We will start fresh next week although I'll be gone more than I'll be here!
Safe travels to everyone driving on Saskatchewan roads (although no one should be, considering how they are all closed) and we will hopefully see a good turn out at our annual Fowl Supper on Sunday.
There is no school tomorrow because of the students getting a day off in lieu parent teacher interviews.
