Period 1--ELA B 30
We spoke about the things that we are most looking forward to after high school and then about regrets that we have. At this point, we read the essay "Someday...If only" which left them with the cliche: "Carpe diem." At this point, they had to write a blog (although we won't be posting it) offering advice to a younger teenager about what to expect. They were given stems if they weren't able to come up with it on their own.
Period 2--AP 30
I lost this class today to our school-wide portfolio preparation.
Period 3--AP 10
The students worked exceptionally hard on their fever charts today. I am completely impressed with how they are tackling this assignment.
Period 4--History 10
I gave back their exam from last week and we went over the answers. They are offered the chance to do an oral supplement to help them out if they didn't do as well as they wanted to. We then continued our study of a comparison of standard of living from 16-18th century to now. We will finish this up tomorrow.
