Period 1--ELA B 30
We began running through the graphic novel of Beowulf today and they began answering comprehension questions with the story. They will continue answering these questions tomorrow.
Period 2--ELA B 30/AP 30
We continued to go over the questions from the anticipation guide. We will start reading the graphic novel tomorow and answering comprehension questions that go with it.
Period 3--Pre-AP 10
They have today and tomorrow to finish working on their Macbeth essays.
Period 4--History 10
Today the kids looked at the Declaration of Independence and had some questions to go with it. They then looked at the concepts of republican vs a monarchy.
Period 5--History 30
Today we went over a handout on the 7 Years War. We looked at the various knowledge objectives and some of the value objectives that the students will be examining as we look at the conflict between the French, British, and First Nations in North America and see how it escalates.
