Period 1 & 2--ALL GRADE 12s
Mr. Sanbeck assures me that they are now finished all the testing for the CAPS, COPS, and COPES testing.  They do have one to finish on their own time, but it should be back to ELA classes as per usual tomorrow (I hope!!!!).

Period 3--Pre-AP 10
We're back into Macbeth.  We finished reading to the end of Act V, scene v.  The kids had one hand in assignment which was to paraphrase one of Macbeth's famous soliloquies.  We've been practicing how to do this, so now it's up to them to show me how well they can do so.  We will finish reading the play tomorrow and then there will be a power point with some important points about Macbeth.  The dreaded full formal essay is on the horizon (next week) as well.

Period 4--History 10
The students debriefed the bead game from yesterday to gain a better understanding of command, traditional and market economies.  They also looked at the Gross National Product--what it means with some notes.  A reminder to the students who don't have their textbook pages in to get them in so the kids can study them for their exam on Friday.

Period 5--History 30
We couldn't get into the computer lab to finish the webquest, so we continued with a handout that discusses European exploration and different worldviews (French and Iroquois as examples of European and First Nations).  The economic theory of mercantilism was discussed and its importance stressed to the students.  We will finish this handout tomorrow.
