Period 1--AP 30
This is our last class before the big day! Tomorrow is the exam day! We went over a few last minute things about writing and the multiple choice and I tried to allay any fears they have. They will do fine!
Period 2 & 3--ELA B 30
This was a "grab-bag" kind of class today. We had some boasts to finish up. I believe there are just two or three more left to deliver. After this, we returned to Chaucer to continue our study of the "General Prologue." We had to stop in the second class and fill out forms for our field trip, so it took some time to go over this, and then we, once again, returned to Chaucer.
Period 4--ELA 20
I went through the Freytag Pyramid of Plot Development today which reviewed a lot of concepts for the students. They listened well and learned a lot (or reviewed it as the case may be). They will have tomorrow to work on assignments.
Period 5--AP 10
This class was derailed early on as we got off track of our discussion of Fahrenheit 451 and spent much of the class talking about truant officers (of old). We eventually got on track, but we'll have to play a bit of "catch up" tomorrow!
