We were at our Sectional track meet, so there were a lot of kids missing for the day. This is what it was for those who were still in attendance.
Period 1 & 2--ELA 20
They had the option to work on their various assignments or to begin a new short story. They elected to finish up assignments and worked very well.
Period 3--AP 30/ELA A 30
They were watching Over Canada yesterday and just finished it before the bell rang today. They have an assignment to do with this where they have to choose two of four options and write about them. They can have this class period to work on them.
Period 4--ELA B 30
We watched "The Knight's Tale" yesterday, but since I wanted to do something with them about this, they will need to re-watch it, so we'll do that when I'm there. They had "The Pardoner's Tale" read to them and looked at a few questions.
Period 5--AP 10
They are working on their Fahrenheit 451 essay questions.
Period 6--AP 20
They continued with their study of the explicatory narratives and the extra information found in each of them about the various characters. We will begin reading Act II next ELA class.
