Period 1--AP 30/ELA A 30
We finished our discussion on Canadian literature by looking at the characteristics of the genre and making comparisons to other Canadian works they've read.  From here, they were put into their reading groups and had to come up with 10 (for the novels) or 5 (for the short stories) questions about their reading.

Period 2 & 3--ELA B 30
We had to finish with some questions from "The Miller's Tale," so we took them up together.  We also viewed "The Wife of Bath's Tale" which will be one of their options in their assignment.  After the viewing, they had various questions to answer to help with deeper comprehension of the viewing, including technical aspects of the illustrations.  Before the end of class, we reviewed "The Pardoner's Tale" and I allowed them a chance to view "The Merchant's Tale" too.

Period 4--ELA 20
We spent the period going over reading graphs and deciphering what the graphs show us vs. the information that is not included.  If nothing else, we examined the concept of data and statistics and how they can be manipulated in order to create data for consumer consumption.

Period 5--AP 10
We had a presentation from one of the students who will be leaving and wanted to finish things up.  The students were then allowed this last class to work on their essay.  It is due June 13th.
