Period 1 & 2--ELA 20
The students needed some time to finish their various assignments that are overdue so I gave them this double in an attempt to clean some of it up. I was able to work with a few students who needed a bit of guidance to get things finished, so this was good!
Period 3--AP 30
We started looking at some of the characteristics of Canadian literature. This created some interesting conversation about Canada and our history and how it's depicted in literature.
Period 4--ELA B 30
We finally finished reading "The Miller's Tale" today and the students enjoyed it. They are always surprised that such a risque story is in our curriculum! It's always entertaining. We had a few questions for deeper understanding of the tale, and didn't quite get through it, so we will finish this up then.
Period 5--AP 10
Most of this class was gone on a French field trip. Those of us that were there worked hard on the Fahrenheit 451 essay.
Period 6--AP 20
We finished reading Act II of The Crucible and then the girls worked on their poem assignment.
