Period 1 & 3--ELA B 30
The students wrote their Hamlet exam today. With the time remaining in the second part of the double, they were able to begin going over their essay topics; we'll begin writing tomorrow.
Period 2--AP 30/ELA A 30
AP 30: The students received their timed writes back today and will be able to use the comments to help them prepare for their next one. After this, we began our look at Victorian literature. We are going to look at some Robert Browning poems tomorrow.
ELA A 30: The students are working on their graphic poems using anaphora.
Period 4--AP 20
We continued watching Hoodwinked. We are almost done and will catch the last few minutes tomorrow. The students now see how all the different points of view thread together throughout the story.
Period 5--AP 10
We did the debate for "The Veldt" (the students did an excellent job) and then we found the old Ray Bradbury Theatre series with "The Veldt" and watched it for the last few minutes.
