Period 1 & 2--ELA 20
We used this last class to remind them of the rules of a formal essay and then they worked on ensuring they had enough to work on to complete on their own time.
Period 3--AP 30/ELA A 30
AP 30s--they are working on their Romantic Poetry assignment
ELA A 30--We finished our discussion of "On A Cold Day" took up the questions together. They have a writing assignment to work on that they will get a bit more of class time to complete.
Period 4--ELA B 30
We finished reading the play and did a bit of discussion about whether or not Hamlet would have been a good king. We will view the remainder of the play tomorrow.
Period 5--AP 10
We prepared the outline for a debate on "The Veldt" as well as chose parts for the mock trial on the same literature. The kids will get tomorrow to formulate their arguments.
Period 6--AP 20
This was their penultimate class to work on their Life of Pi essay.
