We made it through our last day before the Easter Break. School will resume on April 28th and then it's a sprint to the finish of the school year!
Period 1--ELA B 30
We discussed the questions from Beowulf and looked at some of the visual cues from the graphic novel. We will work on an assignment from Beowulf when we come back.
Period 2 & 3--AP 30
We finished watching Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead and then began some discussion about the play. We will finish this up after the break and do a timed write as we count down the days to the AP exam.
Period 4--ELA 20
We did a pre-reading discussion about growing up and then read the short story "A Penny in the Dust" with a focus on the concept of motivation as well as symbols.
Period 5--AP 10
They worked on their I-Search papers
