Period 1 & 2--ELA 20
This was their penultimate class to work on their Hoodwinked assignment.  In the second of the double, we did some creative writing where the students had to respond to the prompt:  He turned the key in the lock, opened the door, and to his horror, he saw....  After they were done, the students could use the rest of the class to work on their assignment or the To Kill A Mockingbird essay that is due on the 14th.

Period 3--AP 30
We examined Victorian prose excerpts today.  The students looked at one by Charles Dickens and then proceeded to teach me about what they found.  We had a class discussion with them at the front of the room and me in the students' seats.  It was fun for me to be the student!

Period 4--ELA B 30
The students spent this class working on their essay.  They are well on their way to being able to accomplish this.

Period 5--AP 10
We are still reading "Who Killed Mr. Chippendale" and having some great conversations about it.

Period 6--AP 20
We were working with "Thou Blind Man's Mark" by Sir Phillip Sydney today.  We will continue our study of this sonnet next day.  The students did an excellent job of annotating it as a large group.
