We had our school wide track and field meet today, so I was out helping out. Most of the senior students, who weren't a part of the track team, were expected to be at school for the day and in class. This is what was left for them to work on:
Period 1--AP 30
I stuck around for part of this class to help them get ready for tomorrow. We had a close look at some of the larger pieces of literature we studied this year and looked for similarities between them which would allow them to choose the one that they know best. Essentially, we were talking about choices based on common questions that have been asked in the last.

Period 2--Pre-AP 10
The students were supposed to use this class to finish up out standing assignments. If everything was finished, they should be working on finishing their reading for Life of Pi. They can consider or plan out what they will use for their ABC book that they'll have to make.
Period 3--ELA A 30
Last class to work on their movie review.
Period 4--Pre-AP 10
This is a repeat of yesterday. Time to clean up old assignments, finish reading their novel and looking ahead to their novel assignment.
