Period 1--AP 30
I gave the students back a timed write which we discussed today. They learned an importnat lesson about the importance of titles for poetry with this timed write. Then I handed out a sample mulitple choice section exam for them to work on. They spent the class working on these as if it were the "real" exam.
Period 2--Pre-AP 10
I gave them their timed writes from Othello back today and we spoke, in general, about some of the mistakes they made in their writing. Then, we finished correcting the multiple choice questions we did for this story last Friday. From there, we had a handout with some deeper level questions on the short story. This is homework for the kids and we'll correct them tomorrow.
Period 3--ELA A 30
The students had this class to work on their movie review for Strange Brew.
Period 4--Pre-AP 10
This class was hijacked from me today by Mrs. Stephenson who needed to do some career guidance with them. They worked on building a portfolio.
