Period 1--AP 30/ELA A 30
This is their last class to work on their essays and reading journals. For the AP kids, this essay won't be due until June 15th. The ELA A 30s will likley have a similar due date for this big assignment.
Period 2--Pre-AP 20
We finished discussing Life of Pi via a power point I made up. Again, we had some interesting questions about turth and story telling.
Period 3--ELA A 30
We reviewed the poem from yesterday with Mrs. Adelman. We re-read "The Lonely Land" and took up the questions about the poem together as a class. We also examined the concept of loneliness and isolation in Canada.
Period 4--Pre-AP 10
The kids are working on their ABCs for Fahrenheit 451.
Just a reminder that there is no school tomorrow for students due to the teachers' PD day. The students get a 4-day weekend due to Victoria Day on Monday! Enjoy the nice weather!
