Period 1--ELA A 30/AP 30
The students requested this as a work period for their essays and reading logs. They didn't get many work periods throughout the months leading up to the exam, so I'm being generous now!
Period 2--Pre-AP 20
This is their last class to work on this assignment. A few are nearing completion, but the rest will need to do some work at home.
Period 3--ELA A 30
We continued with the assignment from the viewing of Over Canada. We were able to book the netbooks for them to do some research about some of the locations they viewed on the film, so it was a quiet and productive class! We will finish this up on Monday and Tuesday and then we are into The Secret Lives of Sgt. John Wilson.
Period 4--Pre-AP 10
I handed out copies of The Hunger Games for them to read by mid-June. Many have already read it, so this should be an easy one to go through. This was their last class to work on their ABCs before we move on, so they were busy trying to get as much done as possible.
