Period 1--AP 30
The students finished up their group work for summarizing each of the characters in the "Prologue" and then they shared their information on the board rather like a giant jigsaw. We aren't even close to finished sharing, so this will likely take a couple of days.
Period 2 & 3--ELA A 30
A listening activity was our main menu for period 2. The students listened to a CBC radio interview of Al Purdy and had to fill out a listening activity. This was for hand-in. After this, they were given a copy of Purdy's poem, "Homo Canadensis" where they had to complete a double entry journal for it. We didn't quite finish going over this together as a class, so we will do so tomorrow.
Period 4--AP 10
We continued reading Macbeth in Act II today and have just murdered off Duncan. We will deal with the fall out tomorrow!
Period 5--History 10
Mr. Wills took the students through the smelting process and transportation. They had an exit slip to complete part way through class but didn't finish the second part of the lesson so that will be on tomorrow's agenda.
