Period 1--ELA A 30
This was the students' last class to work on their Inquiry Project for April Raintree. A few are starting to finish up and hand them in, but the rest will need to be working on this for homework to meet the due date for next Friday.
Period 2--AP 30
In this class, we finished up our study of Oedipus Rex. We viewed a power point with some important points from the play like sight/blindness, light/dark, truth/verisimilitude. We will do a timed write on this on Wednesday or Thursday of next week. The students requested more multiple choice practice, so we will do some of that as well.
Period 3 & 4--History 10
In period 3, the students wrote their exam from our introductory unit. In period 4, we had two presentations on current events and then continued with our current events discussion for the remainder of the period.
Period 5--AP 10
As a class, we discussed the pros and cons of the different deliveries of emotion between reading, viewing, and listening. The students' job now is to write a persuasive letter to the director indicating which method of delivery should be the focus in our school division and why. This is due next Wednesday.
I hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving weekend. There is no school tomorrow as the teachers have PD all day but we all enjoy Monday off! Happy wishes!
