Period 1--ELA A 30/AP 30
We finished up some information needed for the grad ceremonies and then got down to work.  Since they were all over the place with many not even having read the story due to their absences and mine, I started reading the story "On a Cold Day" to them and we discussed various aspect of the story as we read.  The bell caught us before we were finished, though, so we'll finish up on Tuesday.

Period 2--Pre-AP 20
The Kindergarted reading has begun!  Our first groups snuck away to read to the Kindergarten kids while the rest of the class attended an assembly about making good choices involving drinking during this grad season.

Period 3--ELA A 30
The students were introduced to their assignment options for Sgt John.  This will be the last big thing that they do this school year, so they need to focus their attention on getting it finished.  They can either do a reading log or an ABC book..

Period 4--Pre-AP 10
This was their last class in the computer lab to be working on their Historic Persona Response.  The focus is on important First Nations people of the past and present.  They are allowed a lot of leeway in how they want to tackle this assignment--letters, journals, reports, etc.
