I'm still home with the flu, but I've added one of my kids to be home with me...(sigh)...This is what was left for my sub for the day:
Period 1--AP 30/ELA A 30
They were to read the short story "On a Cold Day" if they didn't and work on the questions and assignment. I'd like all of this due for Monday so we can finish it off.
Period 2--Pre-AP 20
They were to read the short story "The Door" by E.B. White and do the AP-style multiple choice questions that go with it. The multiple choice can be done in partners. There are other reading activities that go with the short story they can complete if they finish those. They will continue with this on Monday when we are finally able to start reading to the Kindergarten kids!
Period 3--ELA A 30
A last class to work on their assignment for Over Canada with the netbooks. If they were all finished, they need to ensure they are ready to start in on Sgt. Joshn on Monday.
Period 4--Pre-AP 10
This is their second last compter class to work on this Historical Personal essay that ties into the documentary study of Reel Injun. They needed to buckle down and be ready to finish up on Monday.
