Period 1--ELA A 30/AP 30
We finished the discussion questions from the essay we read yesterday and spent considerable time examining tone and the purpose behind it. Then, we switched gears and read Sinclair Ross's "Lamp at Noon" together as a class. We just finished reading as the bell rang.
Period 2--Pre-AP 20
We continued with our reading of A Doll's House.
Period 3--ELA A 30
We were booked in the computer lab for the students to continue with their various assignments.
Period 4--Pre-AP 10
We didn't have class as all the students in grades 6-12 were treated to a Summer Carnival with various water games and other carnival games for the kids to enjoy. A good time was had by all, albeit a cold one, with a thunderstorm bringing it to a halt and the kids having to attend their last period class!
