Period 1--AP 30
We watched the last few minutes of the last scene of Hamlet and then started discussing the play. We will continue with our discussions in tomorrow's class.
Period 2--ELA A 30
We are two pages away from finishing our book so we will do so tomorrow and the students will have time to work on their reading logs then.
Period 3 & 4--History 10
As we start to get deeper into the French Revolution, we are looking at some of the morals and values around revolts and rebellions, the context of the times--that is, what was it like in France considering the role of the monarchs, and the social class role with the three estates. We did a simulation with the majority of the students having "money" as well as nobles, a king, and a church official with the peasants having to pay taxes and fines to their "betters" which left them with nothing.
Period 5--AP 10
The students are doing their multi-media presentations on Animal Farm where they had to create a comparison between their character from the novel and "real life" from either the Russian Revolution or WWII.
