January 24, 2014

I wasn't at school today as I took a day off work to...work!  I needed to get some marking done and while it wasn't the most fun way to spend an EDO, I made significant progress!  The students were in good hands with Mrs. Adelman today as she led them on their last regular day of classes for semester one.

Period 1--ELA A 30
The students finished the practice reading assessment I handed out to them on Thursday.  This is practice for what they will see on their final exam.  They were also given some sheets to help them organize their thoughts of the major pieces of literature we read throughout the year.

Period 2--AP 30
We did the multiple choice portion of their final exam yesterday, so they were able to continue reviewing their major pieces of literature or work on other assignments that needed to be cleaned up.

Period 3 & 4--History 10
They needed to finish their power point on Napoleon today and did so.  After this, they had time to study for their final exam.  Their old exams were made available to them to sign out from which to study.

Period 5--AP 10
Mrs. Adelman went through the multiple choice section they practiced on and they corrected their answers.
