Once again, the students are back from a long weekend. Our day looked like this:
Period 1--AP 30
We spent a few minutes talking about some of the new rule changes at the school to ensure understanding about late assignments, coming to class late, and the Homework Support Centre. Once done, we dove back into Hamlet. Unfortunately, we didn't quite finish Act I but will get that done tomorrow.
Period 2--ELA A 30
We spent a few minutes talking about some of the new rule changes at the school to ensure understanding about late assignments, coming to class late, and the Homework Support Centre. After we went through all of this, we finished reading the "Lamp at Noon." We spoke about empathy at the end of the story and did a quick discussion to ensure clarity of the ending before the bell rang.
Period 3--History 10
We spent a few minutes talking about some of the new rule changes at the school to ensure understanding about late assignments, coming to class late, and the Homework Support Centre. We were in the computer lab with disclosure #4 for the remainder of the period. We will continue with it tomorrow.
Period 4--AP 10
The students are making some solid headway on their Macbeth essay. We will have more time to work on it tomorrow. They decided on December 16th as a due date and they will have most of the rest of this week to work on it.
