Period 1--History 10
The students had computer time to finish up their James VI (I) and Charles I disclosure that would take them to the brink of the English Civil War. We will debrief tomorrow.
Period 2--AP 30
We continued with our reading in Hamlet of Act II. Things are getting interesting (not that I ever think things are boring with Shakespeare...)!
Period 3--ELA A 30
We are almost finished with all the speeches, but have just a couple yet to finish up. In the meantime, we cleaned up our study of the two Sinclair Ross short stories and are just starting in with our study of The Secret Lives of Sgt. John Wilson.
Period 4--AP 10
Once again, the students made excellent use of their time working on their essay. Since they are working so well on it, I am willing to allow them time to continue for a bit longer which pushes our study of Animal Farm back a bit.
Period 5--Mentor Period
The grade 12s in my group were treated to a work period and they used it well.
Period 6--AP 20
The students are doing a timed write on Othello. Since this is their first of the year, they have a bit of time to work on it next class.
