Period 1--AP 20
The students used this time to work on their essays. It was a very productive class.
Period 2--AP 20
We are going over some of the aspects of the play that I want to make sure the students understand in regards to analysis. I have notes on the SMART board that they can copy down as they see fit. These are mostly my notes about the play and observations and critiques about it.
Period 3--AP 10
We had a timed write on Animal Farm today. They will need more time to finish this up as we were a bit late in getting started.
Period 4--History 10
We watched a quick video on Napoleon Boneparte to summarize his life and accomplishments. Then, we played some French Revolution Jeopardy and the boys won. After this, I gave them a handout with their assignment for the French Revolution on it. They are going to create an ABC booklet. Each student was assigned two letters from the alphabet to connect to the French Revolution. They have to make up a page that could be put into an ABC booklet for each of their letters. The handout has a sample on it.
