Period 1--AP 20
I went over some of the specifics of Huckelberry Finn with the group that is studying that novel, while those who read Life of Pi worked on their essays. We will have ONE more class to work on their essay on Monday.
Period 2--AP 30
Mr. Farrell and the students finished reading Hamlet! We made it through the grave-diggers scene and the fatal fight between Hamlet and Laertes. On Monday, we will view some of the Branagh version as well as deal with a lecture on some of the finer points of the play.
Period 3--AP 10
This was their last class for this week to work on their Animal Farm character sketches and research. They will not get anymore computer time until next week.
Period 4--History 10
We had a couple of current event presentations to go through. Then, we went through the handout that I gave them yesterday to find answers from their reading on Napoleon. We didn't get as far as I'd have liked, so we will finish up with this on Monday.
