Period 1--ELA A 30
We started a look at some background information for the novel we will be reading. April Raintree deals with the relationship and search for identity of two Metis girls growing up in Manitoba. We addressed the concept of stereotypes and what they know, or think they know, about Metis or First Nations culture.
Period 2--AP 30
The students continued their multiple choice questions. They will need a bit of time to finish up tomorrow.
Period 3 & 4--History 10
The students continued to work on their timeline of European events. This is due Monday but many students are already finished.
Period 5--AP 10
The students used this class to finish up their multiple choice exam.
