Period 1--ELA 20
This was the last class for the students to work on their chapter 16-20 reading and reading logs. The logs will be due on Monday.
Period 2--AP 30
The students completed their literary devices quiz. We had the chance to finish our discussion of the Great Gatsby and at the end of the discussion, the students had to come up with five questions they still had about the novel. From those five questions, they have to focus on one to create a question paragraph.
Period 3--ELA B 30
We finished watching Act I of the video for Hamlet. We continued to read into Act II.
Period 4 & 5--AP 10
The students completed their literary devices quiz. We continued, and finished, our discussion of Dracula. After this, I introduced the assignment of the "fever chart" that they will have to do to accompany the novel.
Period 6--AP 20
The students completed their literary devices quiz. They then finished their multiple choice questions on "The Corn Husker." We went over them as a class and tried to determine the answer.
