ELA B 30:
- Introductory paragraph based on a response to one of the guiding questions on the syllabus. The students also had to self assess from the given rubric.
- Who are you? This is a power point the students had to create to indicate who they are. It was based on an essay we read.
- Precis on the essay "Who Are You?"
- Persuasive essay agreeing or disagreeing with the ideas in the essay "What's Your Right Name?" which looks at the importance of labelling. Due Wednesday.
ELA A 30:
- Reading logs for The Secret Lives of Sgt. John Wilson. This is due Wednesday.
AP 20:
- Medicine River double entry journals are due Tuesday.
- Life of Pi needs to be read for Monday.
ELA 20:
- Introductory paragraph based on a response to one of the guiding questions on the syllabus. The students also had to self assess from the given rubric.
- Part I assignment from To Kill a Mockingbird
- Reading Part II of To Kill a Mockingbird. They will need to read chapters 12, 13, 14, and 15 and choose one quotation from each chapter and write a paragraph of WHY that is such an important quotation. This will be due next Monday.
AP 10:
- Connections paragraph from "Tell-Tale Heart." They had to make connection from text to text, text to self, or text to the world and write a paragraph about it.
- Ghost story including the rough draft and peer editing assessment is due today.
- Police report from "Tell-Tale Heart" is due Tuesday.
- Reading Dracula by Monday.
