June 26, 2013

Wow...my apologies for not posting since June 10th...my only excuse is that Graduation was approaching and as one of the coordinators for that, June 10-14 was a blur!  Needless to say, we finished out courses and prepped for exams.

Exams started June 21st and finished up today (June 26th)!

Tomorrow is an administration day for the teachers to get report cards and marks ready to go and Friday, the school is open until noon for the students to come and pick up their report cards.

I'd like to wish everyone a great summer and hopefully we have great weather and a relaxing time.  It has been a pleasure teaching my classes and we will see what next year brings with the new six-period day!

Happy Summer Holiday!  I'll be back to blogging when the kids return after the long weekend in September!

We did a lot of correcting today...we corrected the fill in the blanks from the Reign of Terror and then moved into Napoleon Boneparte and answered the questions from their reading yesterday.

Yikes...sorry for the delay.  My only defence is that it is a busy time of year!
In the last three days, this is what we've accomplished:

Period 1--ELA B 30
We continue to read Hamlet.  Depite a day off to head to Prince Albert to visit the penitentiary and Duck Lake Interpretive Centre for a History field trip, we were able to get to Act III, scene i by the end of Thursday.  We will carry on today.
